Lucyna (Lucy) Mazur

Subject Leader Art and Design, Cambridge Campus

Lucy has been teaching art and design at ARU College for 5 years and became subject leader in 2020.

Lucy has many years of experience in art education, having previously taught for 12 years at a secondary school in Cambridge. As well as being involved in education, Lucy is a textile designer and produces patterns and designs that are printed onto fabric and made into a variety of products. Her business is called I Like Your Bag, because, having made her first unique bag, people would approach her and say “ Excuse me, I like your bag, where did you get it?” The photo shows Lucy using a wonderful printing press, that used to belong to the great designer William Morris.
