Successful completion of Nursing Studies pathway will lead to the award of the following from ARU:
- Nursing Studies – BSc (Hons)
If you are a UK or EU student with pre-settled/settled status, there may be an opportunity for you to switch to a clinical nursing degree following completion of the Nursing Studies foundation.
Progression to one of the clinical, accredited routes listed below is dependent on meeting all progression and professional body requirements and subject to there being places available (due to caps on student numbers)
- BSc (Hons) Nursing – Adult
- BSc (Hons) Nursing – Child
- BSc (Hons) Nursing – Mental Health
Progression and professional body requirements:
- Successful completion 120 credits Nursing Studies foundation Module
- Successful Interview
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure
- Satisfactory Occupational Health clearance
- If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or agreed NMC equivalent)
