Luana Bardales Versace - BSc (Hons) Architecture (with Foundation Year)

Since I left my home country, Peru, getting to know different people cultures and traditions has been such an amazing adventure, at the start it was not easy to leave my life and my family but they always support me and encourage me to chase my dreams. This decision changed my whole lifestyle. My time at ARU College was really helpful for preparing me for university as I didn’t have any basis of architecture so it has helped me keep up with my assignments, with time management and to refresh myself a little bit about how to write essays. My favourite thing about my studies so far has been meeting people from different cultures and finding out that I have more in common with different people than I thought I did. Also, in our second year we did a trip to Barcelona which was a one-of-a-kind experience.

“Foundation is very good. I think it’s a very good idea because it prepares you a lot for the actual degree that you want to study. I always say it’s a very good option to come to the UK to study because you have a lot of opportunities here. My time at ARU College so far has been fun, hardworking, and very interesting.
