Chelmsford

Chelmsford is a modern, vibrant city and a home from home for many of our students

Study in a modern, vibrant city

Chelmsford is a small, picturesque city located in Essex, on the outskirts of London. As a small city, its size means it’s not too overwhelming, and a good size to allow you to easily access everything it has to offer.  But it is big enough still for you to explore and there’s plenty of interesting places and attractions for you to discover.

The city has a rich history – it was one of the first Roman settlements in Britain and the birthplace of radio.

Chelmsford campus experience

Chelmsford is a more modern campus than our Cambridge one with our new School of Medicine, which is training a whole new generation of doctors. Featuring high-quality study facilities – lecture theatres of course, but also mock hospital wards, an Anatomy suite- where students can explore the structure and function of the human body in a more hands on method, and our medical science multi-functional SuperLabs. Students get to use the latest scientific kits and prepare themselves for a career working in science.

New city

This scheme allows you to rent electric scooters for only 20p a minute and use them to get around the city.
