Our undergraduate pathways provide you with the building blocks that you need in order to be successful at undergraduate studies in the UK.
Choose your undergraduate pathway
An undergraduate pathway is a single course comprising of three or four stages (or academic years) of study. When you successfully complete the pathway you will be awarded a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree from ARU.
The University Foundation Pathway is Stage 1 of the undergraduate pathway. The transition from high school to university is a big step, perhaps the most important in your life. Staff at ARU College understand this, and will provide you with ongoing guidance, support, and the knowledge and skills you need. It is this partnership between you and the staff that will make this transition a smooth one.
First Year Degree (EU and international students)
The first year degree is Stage 2 of the undergraduate pathway. You may qualify to go directly into first year, depending on your qualifications. You will experience the first-year curriculum of an ARU degree plus extra academic contact hours. The teaching and learning experience will enable you to fully develop your knowledge and understanding of each module to prepare you for the second year of your degree.
