During Welcome Week you'll receive all the essential course information you need and get the chance to start making friends and preparing for university life.
Welcome Talks May 2023
Make sure to get involved with our Welcome Talks. Our talks are here to welcome you to the college and university campus and make sure that you have the best start possible to your degree. These sessions will give you the opportunity to meet fellow students, college staff and teachers. We will walk through what being a student will be like, how to get involved with activities, societies, and different services. It will also give you the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have.

There will be activities on campus throughout the week including our Freshers’ Fairs so come on to campus and join in if you can. Look at the ARU App and Students’ Union website to find out what’s on when you arrive.
Campus Tours
The Students Union will be putting on campus tours throughout Welcome Week. Not sure where the on-campus gym is, iCentre or available study spots are? The campus tour will make sure you know where you can go for your needs.
