Homestay

We also recommend considering Homestay as an excellent accommodation option. It involves living with a welcoming host family, where you can choose between single or shared rooms with shared bathrooms. Homestay accommodations also offer various meal plans and the option for self-catering spaces.

Choosing Homestay allows you to experience the warmth of a local family and provides a “home away from home” atmosphere, fostering a supportive and comfortable environment during your stay:

  • Homestay Consultancy Cambridge: Students need to be aged 16 and above for Host Family accommodation.

Additionally, we would like to advise you that the availability of spaces in the accommodations mentioned above is currently very limited for September 2023.

Other considerations:

Students under the age of 18 usually require a parent or guardian or other responsible person over the age of 18 to act as guarantor and to sign the tenancy agreement. If you don’t know anyone suitable, there are a few companies (Rent Guarantor, ukguarantor.com and Housing Hand) who can provide this for an additional fee. Please see How To Get A UK Guarantor For Student Accommodation (propertyinvestmentproject.co.uk)
