Life as an International Student at ARU

ARU is home to international students from across the globe. One of the ways we celebrate this is with Global Week. Global Week is the largest event hosted by the ARU International Office and Anglia Ruskin Students’ Union. Each year, the event brings people together with food, music, dance, sport and fun and gives international students the chance to share their roots with each other.

Entry Requirements

Requirements to Join Us 

The language of instruction at ARU College is English. To attain entry into the undergraduate or postgraduate pathway, you must be able to demonstrate you have a suitable level of English proficiency. The English requirement for all ARU College courses is: IELTS overall score of 5.5 (with at least 5.5 in each of the four components).  The academic entry requirements for ARU College are:

Foundation Year Entry – Completion of KCSE/CSE with grades E or above in 5 subjects.
First Year Entry – Completion of KCSE/CSE with 6 grades C or above, or East Africa Advanced Certificate of Education (EAACE) – 2 subjects at grade E or above.
