ARU College Career Month February 2023

We are thrilled to announce that February will be career month at ARU College, and we will be providing students with four invaluable career and employability related seminars throughout the whole month.

The aim of ARU College Career Month is to advise on how best to make the most of your time at university for furthering your career. You will be introduced to ARU’s employability and Careers team who specialise in supporting students and graduates to develop their professional networks and achieve their career goals. Throughout the month you will also learn how to utilise your LinkedIn profile as well as the importance of networking, gaining soft skills, and finding hobbies. The month will finish with an exciting guest talk by Mandie Holgate who is an author, business coach and Founder of The Business Woman’s Network. Mandie will be joining us to speak about gaining the confidence to start your own business.

It’s really important to use your time at university to boost your career prospects and employability skills. We understand it can sometimes be a struggle to fit this in alongside your studies, which is why we wanted to support by bringing you these valuable talks, offering guidance, and ensuring you take advantage of the services provided by the university.
