How can I become an ARU College Student rep?

Do you have ideas about how to create a more vibrant campus life? Are you keen to share your suggestions on improving student experience at ARU College?

We are currently looking for student representatives to attend student council meetings on Tuesday 6th December 2022 and Tuesday 18th April 2023.

This could be the perfect opportunity for you to share those ideas with us and gain valuable graduate employability skills for your CV.

 

What is a student rep?

As an ARU College student rep, you will represent your fellow students at ARU College student council meetings. You will share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on how to improve student experience at the college or how to create a more vibrant campus life. This is a great opportunity for you to contribute to the decision making at ARU College.

 

What are the requirements for the role?

There are no specific requirements to become a student rep, only that you are an ARU College student. However, we are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic about making a difference, being the voice for their fellow students, and sharing their ideas.

You should also be available on Tuesday 6th December 2022 and Tuesday 18th April 2023 to attend our student council meetings.

 

What are the benefits of being a student rep?

As an ARU College student rep you will undergo training provided by the SU. You will gain invaluable skills which will help towards your future studies and vital employability skills which can be added to your CV.

The opportunity will allow you to gain a greater understanding of ARU College processes and systems and you will have the chance to suggest and develop ideas for creating a more vibrant campus life! Both lunch and training will be provided.
